2. Start-up Basics: A Place to Call Your Own and how to Pay for It
I’ll share how to find an office that’s appropriate for your needs, and offer concrete advice on how to start paying your overhead even when you don’t have a large client caseload (yet).
3. Legal Stuff: We’ll sort out Insurance, Forms, Files and HIPAA
Before you see your very first client, you must have your intake paperwork all set to go, a system to get paid, bill insurance and track accounts receivable. We talk about how to do all that in this lesson.
4. Clients: Attracting and Keeping Them
Without clients, you don’t make any money, so we’ll cover in detail the steps to attract new clients to your practice and keep them coming to you for their mental health needs.
5. Marketing Lesson
In this class we’ll touch on the marketing basics you need to get started. You won’t need a full on marketing campaign to kick start a practice, but you will need a few highly targeted techniques to get your name out and referrals flowing in.
